Kanchipuram idli, are well known variety of idlis. Traditionally Kanchipuram idlis are steamed in a bamboo basket which is lined with the mandharai leaves(mountain ebony).

These idlis are spiced with cumin, curry leaves, pepper and ginger powder. Perfect dinner for the cold weather.
