About Samprita

​

Saranya Jayakumar,

Is a Chocolatier and social entrepreneur.  Moved to Belgium in 2014. Despite cooking being her passion, a thirst to learn new skills kicked up, CHOCOLATES.

 

She pursued strong fundamentals of chocolates at CALLEBAUT Academy, Wieze. Later she mastered her chocolate-making skills with guidance from Chef Chocolatier Bram Hullebroeck, from Belgian Chocolate School in Antwerpen.

 

In 2018, her love for plant-based desserts made her go deeper into patisseries, she had followed hands-on training with Chef Toni Rodríguez & Chef Marike Van Beurden (Barcelona, Spain).

About Samprita

Samprita, is specialized in Authentic South Indian VEGAN food. Our home-cooked-style food is prepared fresh each day. We do focus on using local products as much as we can, and most of the products are Bio & Organic.

CATERING: We provide a special catering menu for corporate events, Ph.D. defense parties, birthday parties, housewarming functions & other occasions.

Cooking Workshops

Samprita, provides individual or team events and Indian Vegan workshops. Contact us for more information.

Wondering what SAMPRITA means?
'Samprita ' is a Sanskrit word, where 'Sam' means complete and 'Prita' means satisfaction. At 'Samprita', we would like to deliver complete satisfaction to our valuable customers through our food.

Our Products

Products we use in our catering and chocolates are mostly sourced directly from neighborhood farmers when and wherever possible. Being a small business, we are happy that we have constant support from neighborhood buinesses/farmers. -Our flour used for our food and pastries - from Molens Vanden Bempt from Sint-Joris-Weert., -Fruits for our desserts from Appelfabrik, -Vegetables from farmer's markets. This way we try to reduce our carbon footprint and ensure fresh quality for our finished dishes!
